Oven Elements do burn out

Oven isn’t heating up or only slightly? It’s likely that you have a faulty oven element. Oven elements can burn out. Bake more common but broil too. They are one of the items you will likely encounter. If your oven element has burned out the appearance of it is often a clear indication. Your may see bright spots and/or patches that look like it has been burned. Like a light bulb, there is no way to repair a burnt oven element. They are not expensive and we stock most. There is also universals for the older ranges so most will be replaceable. You can test with a simple ohms meter available at most local hardware stores. Good to have in the tool box.
